Nokia is back, baby!

Cheap phones with straight Android - at least there's something out there for when my Nexus 5X gives up.
 
All sounds good. Just release a Nokia 6 like device with Snapdragon 660 or better and we good.

We're back to generic with phones. Odd that we had a lot more form factor variety prior to Apple reviving the touch screen phone in '07.
 
I like. Even though I won't give up my iPhone any time soon, competition is a good thing.

I think these phones will be very popular since a lot of people will try them out purely based on the reputation of Nokia. Even though it has been years, reputations like that tend to stick, think Toyota etc.

I do however also think they'll have to bring out high end devices in the price and spec range of the big dogs like the iPhone and Samsung S8. Compared to the high end devices a lot of people will automatically see these Nokia's as cheap no matter the spec or design, that's unfortunately just how things work.

Bring out a high end device with the awesome design, build quality and ground breaking camera tech which Nokia was famous for 10 years ago and they'll knock it out the park.
 
From my experience with the Microsoft (Nokia design) Lumia range, i wonder if they have improved the rug-ability of the buttons and usb charger port as these wear out within 1 year.
 
Hopefully we will see disappearance of these poor quality cheap Chinese brands called Hurricane
 
They wouldn't have had to disappear and reappear if they just used Android from the start...
