My contract Is MTN Anytime 200 Nokia Lumia 920 MTN with the 150MB data bundle . As soon as I use the cell data connection the data is deducted from my allocated airtime and not from the allocated data bundle. After four visits to my local MTN shop and empty promises they refer me now to Nokia.

Do anyone experienced the same problem. Is there any settings in WP 8 that I can change to correct the above.

A quick look at the the complaints at Hellopeter, will not be a option. it looks if MTN does not respond

after like 2 months I started getting sms telling me my bundle has been made active, somewhere during the month. I now get the sms every month.

There's no setting on any Nokia that will prioritise data bundle usage over airtime, because the only thing your phone cares about is how to get data in and out of your handset. Where does MTN get all these gems?

Your best bet would be to phone 808 and escalate the call if they give a similar response.

Thanks, will give 808 a try. Got nothing to loose .

Hi Executioner,

I also noticed that when I used USSD to load a data bundle and then started using my data immediately, In saw that it was my airtime that was being chowed. After checking this a couple of times I decided to turn the phone off and then switch it back on again. This means it will load all connections in the new settings (as per newly loaded data bundle too).

I then started using my data bundle and saw that it was being used now and not my airtime.

Frankly, I think their open AnyTime contracts are totally k*k. The other time they disconnected me saying I had not paid my bill, yet they take my payments via debit order (they had just done so a day or two before the disconnection).

So, I have ever since moved to TopUp. There I know what I am spending and I won't get cut off for days for no apparent reason.
