Ok here's one that's got me stumped.

My colleague uses Nokia Messaging on his E90. We configured Gmail first (during web registration on www.email.nokia.com) and the phone syncs and email gets pushed to his device.

We then tried to set up his work email. We have an IMAP server. When we enter his work address in the field after clicking on "Add another", the following error message is returned:

Unable to connect to the server. Please try again later.

Now there is no problem on our server side, and I say this because I get my mail on my HTC Touch Pro via either Blackberry Connect or just Windows Mobile Mail without problems. Also, when we set up our work IMAP via the Mail application that came on the E90 (the "pull" mail) things work perfectly.

It seems that the Nokia messaging server cannot see/contact our IMAP server. We have tried for two continous days, same error.

Anyone else seen this/experienced a similar error? Or have a fix for this please?

Thanks Rudi

I had the exact problem when trying to link my email which is hosted with Hetzner.

here is the trick :)

When its says unable to connect, remove the last website address after the last "/" sign and place the following

/addEmailMoreInfoNoCorpSupport.action

now press enter and it'll open a page to edit your server settings manually.

You may have to try this two or three times until it shows the page, for some reason it logged me out twice and the third time shwoed the settings page
