Nokia N73 Died!!

Hi,

Wondering if anyone had any advice - I was using nokia software update to rey to update my orange n73. I followed the steps and it said phone updated ok, but then when i turned it on it says 'phone start up failed. contact retailer'. Does anyone know how I can recover it. I would contact orange but it was my girlfriends upgrade she didnt want and gave to me - plus I'm not sure whehter me trying to upgrade woulkd mes sup the warranty.

Any ideas anyone?

Maybe you removed the cable to soon. What should happen is that the update download should complete but then you have to wait for the update to the phone to complete. Then after the phone restarts by itself that would let you know the update is complete. If you remove the phone or cable anywhere in that process you'll brick it and have to take it to a Nokia service centre.
