The N90 has been discontinued on Vodacom
E&OE
There has been some mentions of the ad you are referring to (I think) in this thread:I have noticed that alongside the N1 at the Buccleuh interchange there is a billboard saying that the N80 is now free on the Weekender from Vodacom!!! Can anyone confirm this???![]()
I have been looking for this phone for 2 weeks,no where stocks it,then I tried to get a I-mate sp5,no where stocks it too, then W810i, the same.
WTF is going on??I have to say this country is shopping hell!!!!!!!!!!

What an interesting twist... some speculations were made, a while back when the price of the N80 was raised, that with the 'free' deals there are no N80 stock and the expensive deals do have N80 stock.
now it appears to be true....
quite interesting indeed![]()
Market forces - the cheap phones will be sold - nobody will go for the expensive ones.
It's a sad state of affairs when for a whole month, you can't get the cellphone you want at a decent price. Sure, vodacom shops charging R1839 for the phone have stock - but MTN doesn't, niether does vodaworld. I think it's "false advertising" as their special ends 6 Sept and they don't have phones.
