Hi All,

A newbie, so take it easy!:D

Anyway, I have a Nokia N81 with an MTN 3G card, and I would like to be able to connect to the internet on my PC running on openSUSE 10.3. It's a 64 bit machine. Any pointers to get me started would be more than appreciated.

Regards.

I suggest you get a program called Gnome PPP (how you would get it I dont knw as you have 2 connect to the internet and download it using Yast-I think thats what Opensuse package manager is called.) Anyway once you have it simply connect your phone 2 your pc via usb and select 'Pc Suite'. Open Gnome PPP and under settings select detect modem. Enter your username and password (Anything goes !) and select 'remember my password' and just connect!. You could aslo get the program Kppp but then you have to identify your modem manually. How you would connect your data card i dont know. Good Luck!
