Nokia ONT - LAN stuck at 100mbps.

Although I think I'm getting my new router today, I figured how to get my Tenda router's WAN to auto negotiate to 1000mbps.

Switch off Tenda Router.. Unplug Ethernet cable that goes to ONT. Switch on router. Wait for it to turn on completely (like 2 minutes). Plug back ethernet, detects it as gigabit.

For some reason it glitches out upon startup when there's perhaps too many ethernet ports utilised and then falls back to 100mbps.

Not suppose to be like this.

Is that the ZTE router? Might be software related because it's definitely not supposed to be like that. Let me know how our Huawei Router performs once you have set it up.

No it's a Tenda AC8. Bought it months ago to use it as AP in another part of the house.

Ohh okay. Weird. I use the Tenda AC10 as my main router on my 200Mbps line. It's perfect such a decent router especially on the performance side.

I'm guessing it doesn't have a firmware update available.

It actually updated about 2 weeks ago. No new updates at the moment.
Cannot confirm whether this bug is before or after the update though, as I only got fibre after.

I have exactly this same problem. I've tried swapping everything out but still get a steady 90/90 on our 200/100.
