Got a C6-00 and cannot find how to put a shortcut for bluetooth on the homescreen? My old phone just required holding * and it switched on and off.
Any help out there ?
Thanks

There is an app called BT Switch which toggles Bluetooth on/off. A shortcut on the homescreen to BT Switch and your sorted. Do a search for "btswitch s60 5th". You will just have to sign the file yourself.

Thanks, I found the product on Google. But, being a clueless toppie , what now? Wherever I click I must pay or sign up for other things which I know will clutter my laptop for life! Others send me to a medical dictionary? I might need pills soon. If I pay and get the product downloaded on my Mac, how do I get it onto my phone? Can I do it from the phone? Just got the phone so still learning.
Thanks for your patience.

A few sites I found show the app and a download button but all end up wanting me to play games and other rubbish including a porn website ! ?

Just want to make sure first: You are using this phone and not this phone right? I only know how this works on Symbian S60v5.

You can read this to find out how signing an app works. This website works the best for getting the .cer & .key files you need to sign apps to work on your phone.

After you have figured out how signing works, you can download BT Switch (unsigned) here and sign it for your phone.

Good luck!

Thanks, but after2 hours I am actually further back than I was this morning. It's all way beyond me and I'll have to use the old slow way of switching on and off between each photo .

Anybody live in Gauteng that is prepared to load this for me ? Nothing for nothing ! I'm in Roodepoort but will travel anywhere. Thanks.

You do not need an app.
click (touch) options on your home screen.
choose edit content.
touch one of the shortcut widgets.
choose settings.
pick one of the shortcut slots you want to change to Bluetooth shortcut.
choose application.
select Bluetooth.
select exit.
touch done bottom right.
And viola! Bluetooth shortcut on home screen.

Duncan
