Nokia to launch PureView 5-camera smartphone

Things are getting beyond ridiculous now, but whatever navigates your passage... We may as well all be carrying DSLR's around our necks with built in smartphones instead.

Except that these phones are much more compact than DSLRs. And the multiple lenses allow the "AI" (really just DSP) to do interesting things and for the average Joe, smartphone photos are already better out-of-the-box than they'd do bumbling around with a DSLR.

The focus towards more cameras/image quality should be shifted to bigger batteries instead.
a 5000mah+ battery would be nice in your average 6" phone

I'm sitting with the Nokia 7+ at the moment and I'm hitting alllmost two days on a single charge. I was surprised actually - figured it would be much worse. That's with fairly heavy use too - bluetooth, videos, podcasts and so on.

Same here. It's an amazing phone and the battery life is just awesome
