Non Internet Explorer CCTV DVR

I'm looking into getting a CCTV system with a DVR but almost everything I have seen requires Internet Explorer in oder to view/admin and so on. Does anybody know of a brand that is browser indepedent?
 
Most major brand DVR comes with a central management software to access it without a browser.
