I encounter a lot of these people but have never been able to make sense of it. What's the point? Surely you're either XYZ or not?

It's like eating meat and saying you're a "non-practicing vegetarian"

Any non-practicing XYZ's on this forum who would like to comment?

A young woman I know who is a Top Billing presenter/former Miss SA is a non-practicing doctor. It means you're qualified to do the job but you don't for whatever reason. Is that what you're asking or am I missing you?

Yes. Sorry for being vague. In terms of a profession i understand it, I meant more in terms of religion. Non-practicing Muslims, Jews, Catholics etc

Certain religions you're born into (such as Judaism), or at least they'd have you believe. So you'll note you were brought up as XYZ, or born such, but do not practice that religion as an adult.

Oh, like non-practicing parents. I know a few of those...

I often wonder the same about practicing atheists , like other than the orgies what else is there to being an atheist.

Atheists don't practice anything, buyeye. Do you not learn anything at all in your times in PD?

No atheist refers to him/herself as "practicing"...

I was only kidding it seems everyone had breakfast I was hoping for someone to lose it , it is very entertaining.
