Noob Axxess voucher Question

Im about to buy an axxess voucher at pnp. now im not with axxess im with MWEB, so what must I do once I get that voucher?

Log into your router then use the details given on the voucher (user name and password) to replace your user name and password. Save to the router and you're done

or the easier route, so that you don't have to mess with router settings again ..... make a PPPoE connection using the username and password on the voucher and bobs your uncle.

For me logging into the router is the easy option
