Noob-on US server

Hello all.

As the title implies, yes i am a newbie to the World of Warcraft.
I was wanting to start playing the game and was hoping that there was someone out there on the US servers that would be kind enough to show me the ropes and all. There is so much to take in and so many things to know. I have been reading wow wiki till its been coming out of my ears, but i still have a lot of questions which i was hoping some of you Grand Masters could help me with!
like for instance what the difference between an RPG realm and the normal ones. I understand the whole PVP PVE thing, but what does an RPG realm have to do if its an MMO RPG in the first place?

Have a look there it explains the difference between realm types, I play on US servers but only on weekends, RL gets in the damn way too much...sigh

I play on a us server Bloodscalp (pvp) horde and Wildhammer (PVP) Allie scum, but there is a big SA horde guild on Whisperwind if you starting out go to Whisperwind and get into that guild I am sure they will help u out.

The Guild on Whisperwind is called Sorted which also happens to be the server I play on.

RPG = Role Playing, so RPG servers you will find guys actually "in character" instead of the normal servers that you will get "hey dude gimme some gold I need to respect my ****" (They will normally talk like, "Kind Sir, could you spare some coin, my steed is very hungry and my gear weary, any copper spare would help this kind soul dearly")
