Does your local cap only get used once your international cap is depleted, or is local cap always used for local data?

Im on telkom

I would hardly call it free though - You buy a 5GB package and you get 30GB local once you've used it up.

I thought there was a new thing thing out where TI were giving all local free :(

Technically you can actually use the local cap of the Telkom (blended) accounts before depleting the international cap, with the use of a small trick :D

I've never tried it, but numerous people have posted how to do that already.

It's still a promotion. If they decided to no longer offer local after blended I guarantee the price would stay the same. Therefor it is free!

yeah, sorry i didn't read the whole article before replying and i thought you meant 'free' as in using as much as you want like it was before Feb. 2008

So there is a way to split your local from your international even if its on the same account? for eg split the 30 gigs local from the 5 gigs international so when I download from say diginova it only affects the local part?

No. But you can use your local before your blended if you end the month on local and don't reset your connection.

then if you connect the same account again while keeping the local session open, the blended session gets used untill disconnected. problem is keeping the router alive 24/7 though
