Noob rogue?

Guys i started rogue whats the best lvling spec for low lvls i don't mind respeccing later?

Combat swords though it is a bit boring but fastest killing and lowest downtime.

Well sword is not option for me i got the heirloom daggers.Was thinking of going to lvl as SUB will that slow me down alot?Also i am on pvp server so i would like ballanced spec that can pvp if i must and pve.

On my rogue I level'd Sub till 61/62 then went combat.

Since it was my first real char I never really noticed it being slow or quick. I do know that I ninja'd most quests with improved Stealth

Sub is very doable, I did 4k crits on Ambush+Shadowstep while leveling.

Sub is indeed doable but it only really shines when you have Hemo. Before then you're Sinister Striking with a Dagger which means you're doing a lot less Damage then you could be doing.

Combat Swords is so good because it doesn't matter whether you're behind your target to still do all your abilities.

I leveled my first Rogue with Daggers because I didn't know any better. I leveled my 2nd Rogue as Swords and found it a lot easier.
I'll most likely level my next one as Swords again.

Thanks for the advice dude maybe i can twist a gm arm to change my 2 daggers to swords.

Swords are really the way to go. Slowest in MH and fastetst in OH (for poisen proc). Like others have said you dont need to be stealth or behind the target to do damage. Just run in and slice a few faces. Another nice thing with combat is you get the ability (cant remember name) where you hit a additional target for 15 seconds. But a bit of warning, its extremely boring as there is no skill involved except hitting sinister strike and evisc and you will find PvP extremely easier aswell when you hit for the big numbers really quickly.
Basically when you get cheap shot the sequence is Cheap Shot, Sinister Sinister, Evisc target is dead (same level mob). As easy as that. When fist weapons become available choose the slowest fist in mainhand and go pew pew more with 5 free talent points.

I'd keep the 1 Dagger for an Offhand coz you want a fast OH.
Hope you get one of the more sympathetic GM's to change the one to a Sword.

I got them the other day to give me back my badges on my tier 7 chest to get the tanking ones.

You just gotta ask nice .

In the past they even gave me back honour and tokens on pvp gear since i was druid that played feral and moonkin i had to collect 2 sets but i did sometimes want to change feral stuff to moonkin vice versa.

Most gms are actually cool just don't act like a kid.

One more noob question if hunter sends in his pet you go stealth do they still get you even after WOTLK?

Not as far as I kno. Chances are he'll have put a Mark on you at the same time in which case you can't stealth.
Vanish however, removes the Mark but I think you only get it at 20.
