traditional stuff, illustrator, and photoshop

Wow cool. I have been looking for a simple program that allows you to easily set out the comic eg. blocks, headings, speech bubbles etc.

no dont go for those, dodgy, if you want full creative controll, at a steeper learning curve however, go Adobe.
