Normal vivid decoder

So just about a hour ago my grandma decoder is showing access denied on sabc1,2,3 anybody else with this problem? I know from 1 July they will need new decoders but not now :?

Could you post some details? The only reason I can think of for an upgrade would be a change to DVB-S2 or an encryption provider change.

As far as I know it is an encryption change because of the eBotswana law suit. I'm told that it only affects SABC and etv. All the other FTA channels will still be available on the old decoder. Well, this is what Sentech tells me.

The Technology has changed, it is using high bands now and also is DVB-s2.
