Northcliff fiber rollout

Does anyone have any info regarding this roll out?

All I know is that it is Telkom, they are using existing trunking (so minimal digging), and they expect to be finished in the next month or two. However, I do not know when it will be available, and whether it will be open-access or not. Some residents report having had Telkom representatives visit them regarding packages, etc., but I don't know which areas have already been visited by Telkom reps, or even if the complex I live in is going to allow it immediately, or if the board still needs to discuss implementation.

There is digging going on in Berario.

Our gardener says it's for the internet but I haven't seen any marked vehicles.

Northcliff areas are currently being considered for fibre and some of the areas only need 60 or so surveys completed for a fibre rollout.

https://vumatel.servicezones.net/johannesburgnorthcentral put in your address fill out the survey and get one step closer to having fibre.
