Hi guys,

I spoke to some people at WBS and they claim that it is all the Northcliff tower the problem. So I want to see if this is true. So I can move to another area ...

Can anyone who is on the Northcliff tower please post your experience in regards with P2P, chat, simultaneous download and browsing after the cap and any other problems that you may or may not be experiencing.

Also, if anyone who is not connected to the Northcliff tower, got some of the above problems, please post as well.

Hey bro i`m also on Northcliff and to tell you honestly the connection is very bad...The signal btw is 100% on the modem and on Iburst Terminal but that doesnt make any difference in my case...The download speed max i can get is 400kbps nationally and about 150-250kbps internationally...its very slow...IRC continues throwing me out all the time and MSN as well...P2P dont even bother to ask coz i can only manage to get 0.5kB/s on eMule and about 5KB/s on lime wire....and im not capped i have 2GB left....so yeah Northcliff tower sucks...But the question is are they tring to fix it at all or they dont even care about it?

I am capped, but will do some speed test tonight

I think the speed is good as I was getting above 100 KB/s some time ago.
 
if they know there is a problem why the hell dont they fix it? pay pay pay for **** **** **** service i keep getting disconected !!
 
Jason where do you exactly live in Northcliff?Im close to Northcliff Corner its like 1km from my house...

no no no not laughing at slow speeds - thought u guys who were close to northclif had great speed? i live in line with the kyalami tower and have *** all day long !!

I'm living in Albertsville and can see the tower from my house on the Northcliff Hill.

I've complained a lot about the Northcliff tower, by phone and e-mail and eventually without getting any answers from iBurst, stopped complaining.

At the moment my speed at the moment locally is as follows:

your speeds aren't half bad compared with others.

Wbs said that 60-80kbytes/s should be a normal speed to have.

So never stop complaining...if there are no complaints then there is nothing wronge??
 
Well here we talking about 40-50kbytes not 60-80kbytes dude so yes we have to complain coz other r getting 120kbytes:P So we should be happy with 20% of the speed we supposed to have hey?
