Norton sued for scareware

Symantec one of the top Anti-virus Software maker's confirmed that Norton Anti-virus Software source code got leaked. Now the Symantec is facing another big problem that Symantec using fake threat alerts to sell software upgrades to its customer's. Recently a lawsuit claims that the world’s top antivirus firm, Symantec, is itself a scareware scammer.

What anti virus makers using scareware or fake notifications? Can you imagine they actually get accused of developing virus's as well.

Nobody would believe all that.

Yeah I've always believed that 90% of all viruses are developed by AV Companies to keep themselves a float, hopefully people have woken up and start using Microsoft Security Essentials and it comes as a free download if you have a Legal version of Windows, I've had 0 infections since installed 2yrs ago and still going strong....

Read up on MS Security Essentials, its currently top 3....I mean who knows Windows better then MS themselves....well worth it.

Read up on MS Security Essentials, its currently top 3....I mean who knows Windows better then MS themselves....well worth it.

That's what I use. I'm very impressed.
