Not Getting Attainable Rate

My Attenuation seems a little off.

Line Coding(Trellis): On On
SNR Margin (dB): 62 63
Attenuation (dB): 250 195
Output Power (dBm): 196 124
Attainable Rate (Kbps): 8892 534
Rate (Kbps): 6398 509
D (interleaver depth): 160 8
Delay (msec): 7.75 7.89

Currently with Telkom 10mb just upgraded recently.

Line barely a year old so I do not think it is degraded.

Looks exactly right to me, your SNR is borderline at 6.2dB and 6.3dB.

your SNR is low so you probably wont get a better sync and if you do, you will experience alot of interruptions / disconnects.. i have the same issue on my 2meg line..

SNR is really low, my attenuation is higher than yours and I have no issues syncing at 10mbps.

There's your problem ^, ASSIA just crapped on you door step lol..ask TelkomZA to lower the interleaving value to about 32 or 64 should fix the issue

PS, if it stil drops after that, then ASSIA detected a defect on your line and needs to be checked out
