Not getting full bandwidth, or is it just me?

Hi All,

Over the last couple days I've been monitoring my connection. I have Home DSL 384. Over the last couple days the best speed I've managed to get (admittedly, using the Telkom speed test page) is 320kbps. Surely I should be getting a lot closer to my 384? Am I off the mark here?

no even over here we sheer off the actuall mark, cos alot of the packets sent and recieved are either corrupt or lost

i got 384 and with edonkey i dont get more than 30 for more than 5 seconds its always around 29.9 where it should be sitting at around 48. even with http downloads its bottoms out at around 34-35

im on a 512K over in the uk and i get around 54KBps nothing more, where it should be around 70KBps
