Not getting sms's ?

Hey guys.

i have a 8520, and when i turn my phone off, if i get messages in that time, they never get delivered to me:/

lots of my mates have sent me sms's when my phone is off, and i never get the sms ever :/

im on mtn. anyone know what this could be ?

I usually get my SMS's when I turn my phone back on. Maybe call 1555 and see if they can help you, must be a problem on their side.

This is a BlackBerry OS 4 version problem on 8520 - I can confirm this and sometimes I will get messages a week later even MMS. I doubt it is network related and I do restarts or batter pulls reguler

Then why not update to OS5, you don't have to wait for the MTN/vodacom one just use the latest official one from any network?

I cannot update to OS5 as yet as my handset is going in I noticed my LCD is starting to show black marks. Once I get my BB from repairs I will - just do not want to download an OS that my carrier doesn't support as yet
