Not smooth sailing with MTN

Well i took out a contract with mtn, all my papers were handed in on thursday. Contract was approved on friday. was told the sim would be activated in 24 hours. Had to go away this weekend so i asked if i could take the phone as i would need it (dont have any other phone or sim anymore).

Was given the phone and sim on friday. It is now sunday and i am still waiting for my sim to be activated. So have been without any form of comunication since friday afternoon.

got to a phone today and phoned mtn customer care only to be told that the people who do the sim activations only work from monday to friday.

Now i have no problem with people having a weekend, but surely if they can have a call centre running 24/7 they could have some guys working on weekends doing this sort of thing. Now i have to wait for "sometime on monday" to be able to use my phone...
