Okay, I'm confused.
I'm a 4mbps ADSL client. Telkom ADSL checker says my area is still on 4mbps. Yet it says my line is already on 10mbps. Check screenie:
But my router says this:
Do I need to change something on my router so that the mode changes from ATM to MetroEthernet or something?
(Btw, it's a D-Link router, so the SNR is actually 41.8, and the attenuation is 1)
PS: Also interesting to note that my SNR always used to be around 32, during the last week it steadily increased every day, so far increased to 41.8. Also, attenuation dropped from 1.5 to 1.0. Weird. In fact, between taking that screenshot and writing this post, the SNR increased further to 42.1.
Seems all 4mbps clients now shows 10mbps on that site, regardless of whether their exchange is 10mbps enabled yet? Part of their November upgrades, probably. Still sucks that it doesn't actually sync at 10mbps yet.
EDIT 2: I just saw another thread where some posters noticed the same issue. My bad for double-posting, in that case.
