Here and there...
I am keen to have a crack at windows mobile, so I am looking to trade my one year old NOTE 2 (32gb, white) for a Nokia Lumia 920.

All accessories included as well as 2 rugged covers, there are a few hairline scratches from my pocket but nothing all that noticable, with the screen protector on they vanish (obviously).

Should have a look at the 1520 or 1320 to compare with the note, but you'd have to wait a bit :)

That would be the real winner, I was going to try for the 1020 but I figured anyone trading those would be after a note 3 (on account of the lumia's 1020's grossly inflated price).

This trade is purely for curiosity though - I want to see how well Windows mobile syncs across devices. I have already turned everyone I know onto android with only a few iPhone stragglers left - so my only option without taking a financial hit would be to trade down.

I wont accept offers for a Lumia that is older than a few months though - regardless of age, the Note 2 is a significant upgrade to the Lumia 920 in every aspect.

Alrighty... the trade happened, I am now the owner of a Lumia 920. Nice camera, not much else.

I am going to give it a few months before I eventually get my contract upgrade. The first 4 days have given me the confidence to say without a doubt that windows mobile really cannot compete against the awesomeness of android. So many simple features are missing - no file explorer, no ability to install apps off the phone, no dropbox, navigation sucks (used it on a trip to cape town and back to pe), total data bundle annihilation, no zooming on the camera (could just be the lumia 920), although it is fluid, apps open slower than they would on an android device (whatsapp for example) and skydrive sucks - there is no true method of managing files as you would on an android device.

Anyway, now i know, I havent synced it - it seems to only sync info via skydrive or hotmail (who uses hotmail anymore?). Maybe the only saving grace is its xbox sync - which I have yet to test.
