Note 3 woes

Hello All

I gave my mom my Note 3 which she loves, but ever since - whatsapp is wonky.

When she enters a trusted wifi area (logged on password etc done) she doesnt receive messages.

It shows she is offline

What am i missing?

seriously though it sounds like there is a wonky setting inside whatsapp or there is a dupilcate account on the phone, that does cause the issue from time to time, the wifi might be a symtomb of something else.

easiest fix I would sugjest uninstall whatsapp (leave the data), remova all accounts, and then add the google account and whatsapp again, might fix your problem.

does other things work on the wifi?
is it only one wifi network in question where the whatsapp does not work? have you tried making a hotspot on your phone and seeing if she gets messages then?

all wifi works, but i think im going to do as you say and start from fresh

I would suggest uninstalling Whatsapp and reinstalling - I had a similar issue with a friends' phone that wouldn't send push notifications (he was technically offline / closed on the Whatsapp). After the reinstall and activation it sorted itself out
