Notebook and docking station

I am looking for some recommendation and quotations for a new laptop, docking station and LCD screen.
Person is currently using a Dell Inspiron with a Targus port replicator.

Budget for the laptop is around R10 - R12k, and also looking for some prices of LCD screen in the 23" - 27" range.
The laptop should ideally have an OEM docking station, and here I am open to suggestions.
It will be used for 2D CAD work and general office computing.

Approx specs:
Core i7
8GB RAM
500GB - 1TB Hardrive (or a smaller SSD with 2nd data drive)
Can be a small screen size (15.4" ?)
Intel HD on-board graphics should be sufficient.

Dell would be a preference with the on-site warranty, but open to other brands if they offer on-site.

Please let me know if there is any info I left out.

This is a Dell model that fits your specs and is even better in some regards. I figured if you want to be doing CAD work then a larger screen is always going to be the better option and a decent graphics card just to be sure you are able to work at the best efficiency.

With regards to the LCD screen, I am assuming you are wanting a monitor? Please visit this link (http://b-technology.co.za/#!/~/category/id=4760190&offset=0&sort=priceAsc) and browse through the options. These are LED screens and would be a better choice.
