Eish... wonder where the food went if it really was ordered for the passengers?

Oh, what I find ridiculous is that the plane went back and forth between Cape Town and Johannesburg... why couldnt they phoned the airport and asked about weather conditions?

Ridiculous waste of fuel, money and passenger's time...

My sister-in-law and her kids were on that flight. She says the treatment they received was just shocking.

"We flew between Johannesburg and Cape Town five times. We arrived (at our destination) 15 hours later. They didn't give us any food. They knew very well that the cloud was still there. Maybe they were avoiding putting us in a hotel,"

This is truly idiotic, but, all things considered, I have no difficulty believing that Mango could think they're taking the cheaper option by flying up and down between JHB and CPT instead of putting the passengers in a hotel.

He said reports that passengers were not fed during the wait were untrue. "I personally ordered meals for them."
And I ordered ADSL... They got no food, I got no ADSL.

Nah, much cheaper to fly to CPT and check what the weather is like.

Thats just crazy. I would have started threatening grievous bodily harm after try 3.

ETA: When I heard that they registered FrotMango.co.za preemptively, I knew that this airline was
not for me.
