What phones do you actually like? Have your views towards "idiotphone" you used to go on about changed?
honestly? love removable Battery phones with Up-gradable Memory and decent Community support,
so cases, Batteries and anything else for these phones is kept around for a long time.

one thing I hate most of all big Corporate telling me when to change my phone because Capitalism.
Software support for at least 10+ years, batteries availability everywhere, easy to change, parts that come apart with no glue.

and this is exactly why I hate Apple so much, as they make phones last X amount of years, and then throw it in the trash and get another.
when its perfectly possible for phones to last many years, almost like the 20th century light-bulbs.

I must be honest. I listened to the majority of the launch vid and all I hear are keywords and jargon - mostly related to the look. Innovation, ergonomics.... Blah.
I came away with the major points being:
- the design is more refined. Looks like the 1 mostly.
- the glyphs have a few new features.

That was it. Waxing lyrical about the look of the phone left me thinking they have little new to offer. They berated the iPhone because Apple keep punting their winning formula because it sells phones, but is boring... then proceeded to tell us how the 2 is basically a more premium looking 1. Where's the innovation?

Is it the glyphs? Or is it a "look at me, I have a different looking phone". Could be any phone with a cover. I lold when he said "higher resolution when describing the shapes in the back.

I do like the full alu plus glass body.
This was my exact thought.

Not to mention the toxic waste they create.

I stopped at "it's comfortable to hold... and the camera capture sounds are deeply satisfying"
Standards have fallen.
Hold the phone bud. I’ve not watched his review yet but many would agree MrMobile is one of the best around. Detailed analysis & comparisons. The worst is Unbox Therapy mostly as you pay bucks & you get a glowing recommendation.

White stock have arrived. Not going to say how many, but it is a very small quantity, though a bit more than the black units.

The peep was complaining that we don't get the Nothing brand here....which I corrected him on. I can even order the Nothing Buds from Vodacom.

I don't know how well it has been selling on Vodacom though. None of my business customers have requested or enquired about it. They are all iPhone or Samsung orientated. I am also hesitant to push it without specifically asked about it. Reason being I have no history with this brand and not sure what availabily of covers and screen protectors are like. I difinately do t want to suggest it to one of my long time business customers and then they blame me if they do t like the phone.

If the Nothing Phone 1 have not sold well, then who knows if Vodacom will offer the Nothing Phone 2.

I have a NP1 from Vodacom.
Delivery was slow, but nonetheless, the phone is impressive. Not sure if the NP2 will be on offer.

I got confirmation today from the local Nothing distributor that the Nothing Phone 2 will not be available in SA.

Just a quick question, if i were to buy the nothing phone 2 in Europe, would it work in SA?

Wonder how overpriced NothingZA will make this one....the Nothing Phone (1) came in at 68% more than Euro price
