Notice period for contract cancelation?

I have a Cell C contract that is due to expire on the 6th of July this year. I want to cancel this contract because I am not using it anymore. How long notice do I have to give, and how must this notification be given?

I know with Vodacom if you go to one of the Vodacom shops, they will give you a date when you can give in your "notice" that you wish to terminate the contract. Cell c i have no idea

Check with CellC, but at a minimum I would guess monthly subscription fee until July....
