I've mentioned many times that I use Notion as a personal knowledge base, like a virtual copy of my brain. It helps me organize and manage team projects, keep track of business tasks, and create databases for project management. Notion isn't meant to replace all other tools, but it's great for what it does. The developers are always working to improve it.

Honestly, I probably haven't even discovered all the ways this simple tool can be used. You can start with pre-made templates or create your own and improve it over time.

Notion AI is the newest addition to Notion: https://www.notion.so/product/ai

A simple example is creating a little blog/website

I can't figure out how to use the app
Notion AI says:

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the Notion app. Not to worry though, as I'm here to help guide you through it. First, let me clarify that Notion is a productivity app that allows you to create notes, databases, wikis, and more, all in one place. It's a great tool for organizing your work and personal life.
Now, to help you get started with the app, I suggest checking out their website, which has a ton of resources such as video tutorials, help articles, and community forums. You can also try exploring the app yourself and playing around with its features, which can be a fun and effective way to learn.
If you're still having trouble after trying these methods, don't hesitate to reach out to Notion's support team. They're very responsive and can help you with any issues you may be experiencing. Good luck, and happy Notion-ing!

apparently clickup is better. lol?

Anyways notion seems interesting
I've used both. Notion is better. Clickup is more a project management tool. Also to try advertise yourself better than another tool is lame.

Anyways, this thread is for notion.

Can also check out Airtables and Monday if you want alternatives.

@RedViking thanks for the inspiration to try Notion again. Are you using Notion AI? If so, how are you finding it?

I did use the free ones. But now I need to pay and money is tight. It helped me a ton the last while to write hectic emails and use it as a guideline. I cannot compare it to Chat GPT and other AI, but it work really well for me.

I haven't tried all the features unfortunately as I ran out of the 10 free one it gave. But when my budget is back on track I am definitely subscribing to the AI as well.

Thanks, did you just play around until you found a system that worked for you or did you get inspiration from somewhere?

@Ghost02 here is a summary of the Mecer Blog I posted in the OP, created by the AI.

This Notion document provides valuable information about the Mecer inverter system, including a Q&A section covering various aspects such as setup, battery connections, charging, and battery discharge levels. This information is incredibly helpful for anyone interested in purchasing or setting up the system.

According to the Q&A, the inverter system is designed to provide power during load shedding and automatically switches to battery power when Eskom power is down. The document also answers various questions about the system, such as ease of setup, battery connection methods, why the fan may continue to run even when the inverter shows 100% charged, and battery discharge levels for different battery types.

Overall, this Notion document provides a comprehensive set of information about the Mecer inverter system, which can help users make informed decisions about purchasing and using the system effectively.
