Im 90gig on a 2/28 and still going strong :) lol. Gotta love IS for local ;)

90gigs! yoh........im scared to go over the 30gigs else il get capped......happened to me a few months ago and i was capped.

who knows maybe il experiment and see what happens....:D anyone else here gone over 30gigs and havent been capped? (even after a day?)
 
Just quiet, plenty of our clients have been allowed to run over 30GB this month...Not telling you why though :p
 
you want market share and you want the business because local costs nothing so IS still make money :)

uncapped local for like 300-400 bucks would go down a treat imagine how many companies would sign up?

All IS accounts do appear to have uncapped local at the moment. But this is not official, and they may stop it.

Note it does cost them, because it uses the IPC links to get from their infrastructure to Telkom's ADSL network. These links may become saturated again...

so if i use more than my 30gig local from you @openweb and get capped i can quote you and get in 'un' capped??? ;)

pls tell me seriously if i will get capped cos i got lots and lots of things set to download :D

What the hell do you do to use so much bandwidth. There's not any good sites in SA to download stuff, the only reasonable site is games.saix.net.

And I'm sure online gaming doesn't take more than 8GB p/month

It might not be what u think, u need to use those files in conjunction with the IS news server. Thats why several of us can download soo much every month.
 
Yeah but like I said, it isn't as if there's a million local sites to download useful stuff
 
Okay but how do I download? When I click download it doesn't do anything, it just counts up the stuff i wanna download uder my username.

Help da NOOB please
