novatel card problems...

I have a Merlin U630 Vodacom 3G card that can not connect to the card.
It tells me the software searches for the device but can not detect it.

I have installed it 100% on a HP NX8220 but it will not install on a HP6110.We did the following:
Update the Firmware and Vodaphone dashboard from the Vodacom site.
Updated the bios on the laptop.
Updated all the MS software on the Notebook and still it will not work.

Is there anyone with more suggestions?

Check your device manager and see if there are any conflicts? If there are , update drivers.
