Novatel U740 info...?

Im using a Novatell U740 3G/HSDPA card, and my sister another one (I cant remember the name and model number), but anyway, when I connect the Windows information balloon tells me Im connected @ 240kbps, but when my sister connects, her Windows info balloon tells her she's conected at 1.8Mbps. I see not a difference in access speed though. This is rather weird and want to know the following:

-> Is the Novatel U740 HSDPA
-> or Is it only Windows that only display notifications the way it wants?

The lower connection speed stated for the U740 was a bug in the firmware. Grab a copy from the Voda website and that should fix it.

The speed was just reported incorrectly, actual throughput was not affected.
