Anyone know if they are still going to offer this or is there officially no more hope?

I've yet to receive any form of communication to inform me of the cancellation of the MyWireless classic products.

asked bout it the other day, no classic packages anymore, actually asked bout something completely different, but ok

refresh your cache

Lol. The thought did cross my mind that it could be a caching issue, before posting, but this was the first time I was visiting NoWire's website from this PC.

Anyway, you were right :D

Well do not expect a straight answer! It's like them denying that their Durban offices were closing down when they already had closed down. Do they not realise that the denial, or absolute silence does them more discredit? Why not be honest or open. It is more indicative to me of a company that is busy going down the tubes!!

It's like Friday morning, couldn't get any signal from Durban North!!! Nada zip!! so I phoned NoWire who said according to their notes everything was OK but they would phone Sentech. I phoned Sentech myself and was told the same thing, no problem with base tower 60, they could connect OK. About 10 minutes later NoWire phone me back and ask me if everything is OK cos they have sentech on the line. I was still not getting signal. So NoWire tells me to reboot my modem by manually removing the battery, waiting 5 minutes and putting it back and everything should be OK. I scratch my head , but do this. !0 Minutes later no signal. But hang on ... I wait another 10 minutes, try again and voila !!!signal like you won't believe......... Hmmmmm

THE biggest mistake I EVER made was signing up with NoWire!
I had the 256/128 package and it worked fine until the 1st October.
Since then I was unable to connect for almost 40 days(and when I was connected most of the time it was not functioning properly-POP server errors, packet loss resulting in IE not downloading pages, etc) NoWires techies all had different opinions. They never called back as promised.I am still waiting for credits to be passed. Sentech generally kept me "on hold" and eventually cut the call. I am still waiting for both Sentech and NoWire to call back following the "elevation" of my last 2 "trouble tickets" They are without a doubt the most inept, amateurish bunch I have EVER dealt with. Fortunately Telkom came to my rescue. My ADSL was installed in 4 days and as a consolation my connection is now WAY faster, stable and costing me R350.00 less per month. I am returning the Sentech modem(thank goodness I never bought it outright) and they (NoWire) are going to cancel my contract. P.S. Anybody want to purchase the high gain antenna that I wasted R1800.00 on?
Excuse the long post.

Incidently, my high gain antenna had line of site to the Ritz Plaza building base station and I am literally half a km from it. I never achieved more than 2 bars signal strength and quality.
