NukeCAP Free Unshaped International Proxy -LIVE-

please mail me if you have problems, or follow the userfeed back thread on our forum.

myadsl is not for freeproxy problem tracking ;-)

I think it has to do with barack street esr(Cape Town) going down for a few .. my router reconnected and everything in the background thats i did notice..

Skype!!!

What can I say, a huge improvement.

Especially in Skype. Normally the packet loss is between 10 and 20 %, but with FreeProxy it is less than 1% !!!!

At last I can use Skype without having a headache afterwards.

The roundtrip (or lag) is a bit higher (550ms vs 450ms), but it is not a big problem.

No stutters, breakups. Yippee!!

I just hope and pray this solution is permanent.

Thanks Clipse

Another boring update from me :)

Nukecap just reached user number 630

Its moving fast, signup to your a spot asap, remember Ill be away from tomorrow(friday) till sunday, so if you have added your name between friday and sunday, everyone will be added on sunday onto the server, just havta wait till then :)

What will happen after November when Telkom start charging per usage. I think that the proxy may be under used then.

Hi

Hi Clipse,

im getting this error message 'Error: Cannot Open Networks Database file rt'
any idea what the problem is? It worked great up until Saterday.

JJ

mail me your log please, I dont want to use this forum as a support thread.

any future problems, please post on our forum.

Another update, nukecap just breached the 700 user mark :)

This is a fun ride and I hope everyone else is enjoying it just as much.

With our 2 new servers in place, we have 3 servers running in conjunction now with our specific setup and have more room available than ever before.

FreeProxy is growing each day by alot of users, and rest assured we will never be full, we will allways have room to expand and make sure to plan constantly ahead for more room.

On a side note we have exceeded 2000GIG in just over 20days with 420 users registered currently on our FreeProxy service. I expect we will do with the current growth and demand to about 600 users in next 10days and 4000GIG or more of traffic :)

Howzit Clipse,

I'd like to take advantage of your free offer. I'm running on a 512 uncapped ADSL from UUNet. Hopefully, I'm still eligable for the offer.

I'm also a user on your forum, going under the same alias/screen-name.

For those of you who haven't used NukeCaps services yet, do so now! For just a R130, you can have 250mb at your disposal. And trust me, it's worth every cent! 280-320ms on international services :) That's far better than the 800ms - 1000ms I'd usually get on this connection.

Hey Jun, you will notice when reading the thread on our forum, UUNET uncapped cant benefit from this freeproxy method. UUNET uncapped can only benefit when using the lowping vpn service, which you have atm.

Heya

We are busy finalising IS ADSL accounts that we will either offer as a combined package with all our other services at a monthly fee or a stand alone package that you can rather pay individually extra for the other Services. All our Services will thus be UUNET peered with IS, this has been solid over the years, the peering issues that alot would know of, was between IS and SAIX where SAIX couldnt care much.

Currently the cost would run as follow:

2GB ADSL @ R185 (inc. VAT per month) with up to 30GB local bandwidth
3GB ADSL @ R220 (inc. VAT per month) with up to 30GB local bandwidth

This will be a special up to December, and prices may increase to the normal rates of about 10% more across the pricelist.

So far the IS route seem to be the best route from November, we all hope for better options and if there is anything else, we will do our best to make it available.

Clipse will this replace current ISP ? Ie what is total cost of service Line Rental, ISP, NukeCap . . . . .

It would be Line Rental + NukeCAP as ISP (Backbone of IS peering with UUNET) and guess what, we will have awesome support as usual ;)

The Extras will be optional, but we will put a balanced package together for instance combining decent amount of usage on LowPing + ISP for one fee.

The silly line rental, seems like it will never go away :/

Btw.. everyone following this thread, our adsl accounts from November pricing below. We could allways create a new thread like everyone else and spam the forum with multiple advertising but I would rather just continue everything in this thread.

All accounts allow 2 concurrent connections.

(Prices valid until the 31st of December)

2GB ADSL @ R175 (inc VAT per month) with softcap allowing an extra 30GB local bandwidth after cap.
3GB ADSL @ R210 (inc VAT per month) with softcap allowing an extra 30GB local bandwidth after cap.
5GB ADSL @ R360 (inc VAT per month) with softcap allowing an extra 30GB local bandwidth after cap.
10GB ADSL @ R630 (inc VAT per month) with softcap allowing an extra 30GB local bandwidth after cap.

(Prices valid until the 31st of December)

All our IS subscribers will have benefits and discounts on our other products, a clearer list will be available before November.

There will be an updated price for the 5GIG package on monday. Keep an eye on our forum thread located here: ADSL Accounts
