Hi all,

I was just wondering how many of you guys have been using the Nukecap freepoxy option? Does it work well? The speed??

Tnx

oh yeah its pretty good ! if it werent for clipse and MrB, i'll be waiting days for my downloads to complete !

Hi could you then quickly tell me how do I get the settings for the proxy?

thanks

You need to apply at NukeCap or OpenWeb and get the required usernames and passwords. I haven't used the NukeCap freeproxy since it uses some special application that doesn't run on windows. But it does work well apparently

Where on the Openweb site do you apply? Can't seem to find it?

How do they do it? Do they have their own lines that run on SAIX?

Openweb has closed registration for their service as a result of too many people applying. You'll have to got NukeCap.

Im confused, our application only runs on windows :-)

In fact we made it so easy and straight forward, any windows user can use it :)

I must agree the program worked amaizingly easy. I was shocked. Thanx Clipse World Of Warcraft is a dream with your proxy!

i was just wondering if there is a usage limit on the NukeCap service?
if there is what is it?

on freeproxy there is no limit, read the "Whats it about?" thread and youll see all important info there, its not a local proxy so remember it only helps you out when uncapped still. Our Local unshaped proxy has a prepaid limit, buy as many megs as u need, this is our primary low ping solution.

yeah i read that, i just wasnt too sure if there was a limit or not..
but thanks for the wonderful service clipse!

If anyone believes the rumours, shouldn't the new proposed local capping from Nov 1 scrap all this proxy stuff? I'm not sure how you guys run it, do you run everyone of a Diginet line and proxy or something else?

If you visit our site and read how FreeProxy work, you would have known :)

Anyways, we run it via an international server, so while your uncapped the service works. Even with local capping this will still work, since it can only be used while uncapped.

I believe the registrations have been re-opened on Openweb.

I used OpenWeb, then tried FreeProxy, and I'll be sticking with FreeProxy, thank you very much. Others may find it different, but I like the ease of use that comes with the FreeProxy VPN-type setup. And it works very nicely. :D

To everyone using FreeProxy, we will be making alternative configurations available soon based on criteria of requests.

This will help alot of users only wanting FreeProxy for specific international traffic.

More news about this as soon as we get more time available :)

this thing works great, i can finally get my maps that i've been trying to download throught http for months!!

Does anyone know if Nuke Cap works for Final Fantasy XI?

Or any tunneler that works?

guildman - come signup and see for yourself.. I bet it will work.
