Any one know any thing about this subject ?
I have done some reading on the subject and seen the results of UV reflection .
Any one with knowledge on this subject that would be willing to share that knowledge would be appreciated trolls and shyt for brains can keep their comments to them selves .
From what i have seen this spray actually works ?

" Drivers across the country who have been using an invisible spray to prevent cameras from snapping them in the act of breaking the speed limit have been warned that their number is now well and truly up"
http://www.iol.co.za/news/south-africa/speedsters-snapping-up-plate-spray-1.398762#.VenS5NKqpBc

"Claims that a spray used on number plates to help motorists avoid detection by traffic cameras is "totally legal" are being investigated by the Advertising Standards Authority"

I see many threats but no prosecutions or where in the law that it is actually illegal .
Constructive contributions would be appreciated .

LOL

A fool and his money are soon parted.

I will sell you some glitter that makes your whole car disappear.

Send R500 and find out...

I will add tire "turn faster" spray only for another R200

Thanks once again for the valuable contribution , i am sure every one appreciates your knowledge on this subject .

There was a program on TV a couple of years ago where the traffic cop showed off his speed camera. They showed even when light reflects off of one of those sprayed license plate and you couldn't see the number at all that they could use the photo negative to get the number. I imagine the etolls guys have some similar software capability which is just a click of the button.

Sorry dude, but a bit of googling would show all your links to be total BS.

Am I the idiot?

The short answer is that the RTA requires that your number plate be visible and legible. So if you're in a vehicle behind it or whatever, you should have no issue reading it. In this sense it's legal.

Now the problem comes in where you use it to purposely evade being trapped by cameras. This is where you may be looking at defeating the ends of justice. It's the same as spraying mud on your number plates, or putting a sticker on a letter to make it hard to read.

Take a look at the below for reference:

NRTR 2000 Reg 35(6)(b) r/w sec 89

Any one know of any one that has been persecuted for using this spray ? .

Is it 2005 again?

Just, for a moment, apply some critical thought. Legalities aside, it may well be possible that you could engineer a plate such that it would reflect enough of a camera flash back towards the source in order to overexpose the image. At night. Maybe. In bright daylight? When a flash would either not be used, or be overpowered by ambient light? If you can see it, so can a camera.

Now, just to ensure that my contribution meets your standards:

Well i am just asking for some one that actually knows some thing on this subject and that has some knowledge on the subject , do you think that is to much to ask ? .
I am looking for knowledge on the subject even if it is 2005 knowledge , i have done some research on the subject and have some footage on reflections on CCTV but not tried this spray , that is why i am asking if any one knows any thing on this subject .

That spray can be chucked in the same BS bin that holds the following:

Magnets that change the molecular structure of fuel to make a car more fuel efficient.
The vane things that go on intake systems to swirl the air to give a motor more power.
Liquids and pills in the fuel tank to give better fuel economy.
Gadgets attached to HT leads for spark plugs to get a "modified" electrical charge for more power and fuel economy.

etc, etc, etc.

And Mythbusters did a test on this spray stuff and various covers which claim to block the plates from being visible to a camera and not a single one worked as claimed.

Rather take that 500 bucks you were going to spend on a can of BS spray and save it for when you get a speeding fine.

I know something on this subject, because I had physics in high school and have enough of an interest in the world I inhabit to understand the basics of reflection, refraction and image capture. Magic number plate spray is bollocks. Now, stop being a douche canoe on public roads, because that's the most likely reason for you even raising the question.

Now that is a scientific reply i am sure that makes sense to many people .

Can you share this knowledge ? it would be greatly appreciated .
The way this reflective spray works or does not work on the traffic trapping cameras would be appreciated .
Canoes he he obviously you seem to know a lot about that .

What i cannot understand is people replying to a thread that they know shyt about .
I mean WTF .
This is not TK .
