We have been trying to port our reps number from MTN (NASHUA, spit) however the process has taken almost a week already, with no end in sight.
This is supposed to be a seamless event.
The reason the number is being ported is as a result of the company standardising all contracts and they will now be held with Vodacom.
Vodacom said the problem lies with MTN/Nashua.
The rep cannot make any calls and we have subsequently decided to ditch his number/sim and just get a new one from Voda.
It seems it is easier for us to notify hundreds of contacts of a new number than it is for these fools to port a single number.
Is there a specified time frame for porting laid out by the DoC or Icasa?
