Nuts

Loose or Pre-packed.

I'm looking at Walnuts, pecan nuts and macadamia nuts.
Mr Mila loves cashew nuts.

tx :)

Cashew nuts' my favourite as well  :D

Bakers Bin (I think) got cashews as well as other assorted nutty things.

Usually purchased nuts at Fruit & Veg, the one located at Somerset Mall, but I hardly venture anywhere near that shopping centre nowadays.

*insert obligatory I have nuts for you joke*

Try Wespack, they sell a wide range of prepacked nuts in different weights.

As mentioned, fruit and veg usually has a large selection of loose nuts.

Where in the country do you live?

There is a place out near Hartebeespoort dam called Jasmyn. Its near the Doxa Deo school and is hard to miss (giant windmill). It has some great nuts and also on occasion has them at insanely good prices. I occasionally get pecan and cashew nuts from them.

Its a nice drive out there and they do a decent breakfast at their restaurant so perhaps make a trip of it.

If you are in Pretoria East, there is a greengrocer/bakery on the corner of Lynnwood and General Louis Botha street (I can't remember the name, but they are next to Groenkloof butchery). They had quite a variety and also have good specials from time to time. They had breakage cashew nuts for R49 a while ago.

Haven't been there since the chistmas holidays, so can't say what the situation is presently.

Housewife's Market. This is also a good spot as any.

If you're in cape town...Komati foods in lower main rd obs is the best for quality nuts and I don't really find them that expensive.
