Nvidia GeForce GTX range – SA price, performance comparison

970 is enormous value for money, the Titan Z on the other hand...better remortgage the house :p

This is possibly the biggest reason i stick to console.

I am aware that nothing can beat keyboard & mouse, but schit those prices are hardcore.

News at 11: High-end graphics cards terrible value for money, sky blue, bears **** in woods.

Also, anyone who buys the Titan Z is a moron, I don't care how many oil companies they own. It's more than FOUR TIMES the price of the 980, yet slower? LOL

Referring of course to actual tests comparing them, not Nvidia's pulled-out-of-their-ass figures.

Bus Width is a real game changer, I would rather have more wider bus than a higher clock speed.

Agreed, don't see the need to get rid of my GTX 670 just yet :)

yeah my 770 is running well, no need to upgrade yet :P

my 680 is still running very well. But it still doesnt stop me from wanting the new one :P

Ja, I'll just stick to my 670... which still works just fine ;)

Psssh...posers...I will stick with my GTX570 that also is a heater every time I fire up a game :p :D

Indeed, I had a 290 on order with Phoenix-Tech but by some miracle I managed to get my money back before it turned out they were skelms :erm:

The money I budgeted has sadly gone to other things around the house that broke themselves, so no new GPU for me anytime soon

The bus width is roughly what you’d expect given the relative performance of the GPUs and ram allocations. Each one's basically just insuring that there's sufficient access to the memory, more than that it doesn't really feature. I mean, you could throw fistfuls of render backends at the GPU, but if your memory bandwidth is insufficient or uses too low a bus width, then that hardware is wasted. And vice versa, of course.

Anyone know if any store is making graphics cards bundled with Assassins Creed Unity? Nvidia generally have their specials with Ubisoft games around this time of year.
