We reported last week that Japanese holding company SoftBank planned to sell off Arm, and that Nvidia had shown interest in acquiring the UK-based chip designer. Now, it seems Nvidia is in advanced talks to do exactly that, according to Bloomberg.
According to Bloomberg, Nvidia and Softbank/Arm look to reach a deal within the next few weeks. Right now, Nvidia is the only suitor in concrete discussions, their sources say, and that no decision has yet been made.
