NVIDIA Surround Setup. If you have this I would like some input please?

Does anybody here have an NVIDIA SLI setup here?

If you do can you make the following changes through the NVIDIA control panel:
- you can create 3 separate desktops (extend like dual view across 3 screens)
- one big surround desktop
- set it to show the same on on all 3 (clone)

Will two GTX580s be enough to run the setup in the above modes

Why not go the AMD EyeFinity route?.. its easier and cheaper...

I have lawyas been NVIDIA guy and have never jumped shipped. Then there is the physics etc.

Are you running EyeFinity?

If you're planning to run just a desktop accross 3 screens, then I'd recommend a single AMD Eyefinity card, but if you're planning to play games, then I'd recommend a SLI/CrossFire setup.

I have a SLI GTX 460 setup, but I've never used more than 1 screen though. I can perhaps hook up 2 more screens if you'd like me to do that? Unfortunately the resolutions would be different unless I force everything to my poorest screen which runs at 1680x1050.
