NVME SSD compatibility with Lenovo

HI does anyone know if the Samsung 970 EVO Plus 250GB NVMe Solid State Drive is compatible with my new
Lenovo Intel Core i3-8130U CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.20GHz with 4GB ram.
it has a normal old school hard drive but it looks like there is a possibility to insert a NVme ssd and run windows from there,
would just like someone to confirm this.

I put a HP ex950 in my thinkpad and its one of the best decisions Ive made.

Here is the maintenance doc for the E580 and E585.

Op page 67 you will see the desctioption of how to install an M.2 SSD. Whether the M.2 slot will support NVMe, Im not sure, but Ill see what I can find out. My guess is that it will. Some of the higher spec E580 machines has an NVMe drive in anyway.
