Anyone know when the expansion for neverwinter nights 2 will be released?

USA - September 2007
RSA - September 2008 :(

Mask of the betrayer? Think i'ts November 9th 2007 for RSA. I really doubt it will be something like September 2008.

Neverwinter Nights 2: Mysteries of Westgate is also being released this year by the looks of things.

This one is actually quite funny. The Witcher and MOT are both publisched by Atari, we are suppose to get the uk version of both. MOT gets released a month before the witcher but the witcher beats it to the stores in SA.

BT games told me it's a problem caused by Megarom the local supplier but they weren't giving any specific details.

I was just exaggerating at the slow pace of things in SA. :) The reason I want this damn game now is because of the story. People at other forums are discussing how MOB story rivals the classic planescape torment and the fact thet it's not a "it's up to you to save the world" plot *yawn*

If you like a good story get the Witcher till MOT gets here some day. I have MOT also on preorder.

Witcher story is fantastic. Brought me back to the fun days I had with the classic rpgs like planescape and baldur's gate.

Seriously though, I can't find any refernce online regarding the story. Still crack up when people tell me morrowind/oblivion has an excellent story. I see the game requires 1Gb of RAM and it comes from Europe. How good is the translation and does it have any voice acting?

Game really needs 2 gb of ram. Voice acting is good. Story is based on the novels by Sapkovski. He is one of all time best selling Polish fantasy writers.

The first book was translated this year in English called the Last Wish.

Game's story is excellent. I won't give much away but for instance in one of the quest you get a choice you can either have the witch burned at the stake or kill the mob who wants to burn her. Now in most games here it would be an easy good vs evil choice but not in the witcher.

The towns folk have some dirty deeds behind them. One killed his brother, the other deals with smugglers who kidnap children, the other one raped a girl and the fourth send his daughter away because she was pregnant and is now a whore on the streets. But all of these had help from the Witch in carrying these things out. So you get to make a choice of which is more morally acceptable to you. Witcher is about grey and not black and white like most games.

Atmosphere in the game is excellent as well. The music really adds to the dark theme.

IGN gave the game an 8.5. They said it deserved a 9 but deducted points for loading times and some crashes.

I have seen it at the fleamarket today.I'll give it another day or so.

I have both as well. But I am going to finish Witcher first before going with motb.

I friggen LOOOOVE rpgs , especially ones like NWN ... but am I the only person who seems to think the person who did the camera angling work for them must be fired?

I struggle my left testicle off to get good camera angles for in-game play. You can never focus right to see traps and this and that. It makes me a sad panda :(
