NZB problem

I tried DLing an 760MB nzb with Altbinz. I left it downloading for 2 hours came back expecting it too be completed and found it still had 760MB to go. However all 20 connections were running fine and router light was flicking away. Checked Netmeter and 2GB had been downloaded in those two hours :wtf:

Checked the Altbinz DL folder and nothing was there. Searched everywhere for the 2gb but I have no clue where the hell the data has gone too.

Tried the same NZB on a different Newserver and also a different program and got the same thing

What was the age of the nzb and what news server was used to download it?

Check in the cache folder.
Grabit sometimes downloads the file but leaves it in the Cache folder

OS is WinXp. NZB was very old. Had the same problem with both NewsDemon and giganews.

I checked again with NewsRover and found the individual Winrar file part would just continue downloading. It would complete it's 67th and last part of the rar file and then jump back to 47 and move back up to say part 55 and drop again. It would just carry on like this.

Just thankful I never left it over night
