I see Astraweb has a 1 month unlimited for $10 - Rate 10 Mbit/s, 20 connections

The 180Gb for $25 has unlimited Rate and 50 connections.

I'm on a 4Mb line - can someone tell me whether the 1 month package would be sufficient as a backup server - is the 20 connections limit a big negative ?

If you only using it as a backup I would suggest going for the block account, i.e. the 180GB one, which never expires. I find my backup account (main being Supernews) last quite long for my purposes. 20 connections are enough, you won't find much difference in speed with more connections on a 4meg line, I only use 10 connections and get full line speed.

As a backup use the once off 180. Well last you way more than the equivalent 2.5 months on the monthly

All shows released by the scene are now x264, since February this year.
 
What happened to ghoti...is he still downloading the first episode of Smash in 720p...with 2 seeders. :D

NewsDemon is a much better deal.

$9 Unlimited / 50 Connections.

Just use a credit card if you have one, don't select to pay in ZAR, just leave it as USD and then you can select other payment options.

There's a guide on their forum but its a bit finicky due to them using zip files. Much easier to just use Newstown or NZBSA. PM alt21 if you need to get in to NZBSA.

Yeh, says it doesn't exist, on both my email and username, then I read the next day (13 December) that they did a big purge.

No user with that email address was found
