O/T: ASA Complaint

Again, do you all work for Cell C or something? Why can a customer not expect a service FOR WHICH HE HAS FRIKKIN' PAID?! Damn straight they should be contacting everyone to apologise for not providing a service FOR WHICH PEOPLE HAVE PAID. Why is this hard to understand?

lol, 10 of your 11 posts have been in the last two days and about cell C. You should check the threads and see the responses from Cell C on these issues. Maybe youve got them on your ignore list or something.
Or maybe you're annoyed because they haven't contacted your personally to apologize for the inconvenience of being offline for a few days.

I’m sorry for not being part of your little club for longer. I was busy elsewhere. But I’ve now found a forum where people share a similar problem to mine, so I decided to participate. The fact that this happened a few days, or 10 posts back is neither here nor there. The Speedstick problem has been around since at least mid January – there are plenty threads here to attest to that – and not just “the last day or two”. Also, don’t feel like you must act like a dick to the “noob” – being around here for the odd 3000 posts doesn’t make you in any way cool.

Maybe I'm just annoyed that all you 1 post wonders only drop by here to complain. I'm also being inconvenienced by the fact that they're not running properly, I just seem to be mature enough to know that right now is not the time to start with idle and pointless threats with the ASA.
Lets not throw the bathwater out with the baby.
They, like neotel in the beginning, deserve a little leeway to get their band new network running smoothly. Complaining because you have to hold for 20 minutes to hear "Its a nationwide problem we're working on it" when the rest of the country is obviously also calling about the same problem it juvenile. Threatening to go to the ASA because of a few days of downtime is paramount to "I'm gonna tell ma dad" on the primary school playground.

I would encourage you to post your problem in a relevant thread, join in the community discussion with Cell C in trying to find out what the problem is, and relax.

Could it be that the larneys at Cell C are so busy celebrating their new-found winfall that they have forgotten to check up on their existing customers in recent days?

I note that in the last few days they have been awfully pre-occupied with signing lucrative deals with Red Bull customers to access the HSPA+ 900/2100 network [1], and opening up their HSPA+ 900/2100 network with Virgin Mobile customers [2].

They have also made a lot of money selling off 50% of their shares in Virgin Mobile SA.

If there was a clear statement on the Cell C website detailing the problem you wouldn't have to be annoyed by all us 1-post-wonders. But seeing as they have chosen to randomly post things in a variety of online media instead of actually informing their customers in the logical place, we have to run after them trying to find out anything.

Stop being such a condescending jerk. "1 post wonders" WTF, do you really think you're special for hanging around here for years? And stop with this few days rubbish. It's an ongoing problem. We've already established this. Try to keep up. I paid R3000 for a product that simply does not work. Not slow. Not sometimes. Not at all. And you're telling me to stop complaining? What world do you live in? I doubt you even have a Speedstick.
