Couldn't find a thread on this so sorry if it is a repost.

Just found it on Netflix last night and I am enjoying it. Bunch of experimental shorts that are pretty cool.

From wiki: Oats Studios is an independent film studio started in 2017 by Oscar-nominated South African filmmaker Neill Blomkamp. The studio was created with the goal of distributing experimental short films via YouTube and Steam in order to gauge the community for interest and feedback as to which of them are viable for expansion into feature films.[1] Actors featured in the films include Sigourney Weaver, Carly Pope, Sharlto Copley, Jason Cope, Kellan Lutz, Michael Rogers, Jose Pablo Cantillo, and Dakota Fanning.

Yup, been following them for a few years. I love Blomkamp's stuff, really gutted he never got to do the Alien movie he was working on.

Only issue I have is they haven't released anything in a while.

Apparently there is an American history based sequel to District 9 in the works.

Yea I need to watch Demonic still, too. Either way, the Oats films are great and the cast they managed to assemble - extremely impressive.

When I saw Sigourney in the first instalment I had to do a quick lookup online to make sure it was her.

Just finished watching all of them now. Boy I could gobble up 100 episodes of this stuff. Love it.

I also enjoyed God and Kapture. Both made me chuckle...

Agreed, they were fairly cheesy.

Think I'll binge them all again this weekend.
